PSALM 121

I was sitting here thinking about my younger children and how they are growing up. I was thinking about Facebook and how some of the children on FB say and do some things that would make parents weep. I was thinking to myself "man, it won't be long before my daughter is on facebook" and I got kind of panicky, (I guess that's the word I will use). I got up to go into my closet and I heard the Holy Spirit whisper Psalm 121.
I reached for my bible and here is what that chapter of Psalm says:


1. I will lift up my eyes to the hills-
from where will my help come from?
2. My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.(WOW)
3 He will not let your foot be moved;
for He who keeps you will not slumber.(He never goes off duty)
4. He who keeps Israel(that's includes me)
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5.The Lord is your keeper;(He guarantees to keep my children)
the Lord is your shade at your right hand.
6. The sun shall not smite you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7. The Lord will keep you from all evil;(WOW!)
he will keep your life.
8. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in
from this time on and forevermore.(not just now, but forever)

This lets me know that if you abide in Him, if you make Him your dwelling place, He will take care of your life and your children. Not saying that nothing will ever happen in their lives that I disapprove of but before the enemy strikes,I have already won.
I told God that because I gave Him my life as at a young age I want my children to miss that mess the enemy has planned for them. I beilieve that is just want He is going to do.
I believe that if I make Him my life, He will take care of mines, and my life includes my children.

STRONG TOWER

According to Proverbs 18:10, The Name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous can run there and be safe.
Wow! While reading this I had to stop and ask God for some clarity. Oftentimes we read and quote scripture, which is very good but there are some times that we must seek God for a deeper revelation. I asked God, "how can a 'name' be a tower?" He didn't say heaven was a tower or your prayer closet was a tower, He said His Name is a tower.
Immediately (2) very prominent and wealthy people came into mind: Oprah Winfrey and Donald Trump. Assume that you were invited by either of these two people to spend a day, week, month, or even a year with them. No doubt, you would eat good, drive good, sleep good, and experience top notch everything........I bet you know where I'm going with this. The very name of these people signifies wealth and great status. Suppose you were checking in a hotel with one of them and they forgot their wallet(very unlikely I know, just humor me)the hotel would have no problem issuing them a top of the line room, even better Donald Trump is the owner of several hotels so he would need nothing at all. While staying with them, wining and dining in their company, you would feel secure. I don't think I would have a worry at all, not about food, not about clothes, bills, or even safety.
Well, the Lord of Lords, King of Kings, creator of Oprah and Donald says that His very Name is a strong, fortified place, a place of safety and security. A place where you want for nothing. Righteous one, when danger strikes, call on the Name of the Lord and there you will find all that you need. There is safety from the roaring lion, when he roars in your marriage, in your finances, with your children, call on the Name that is above every name and He guarantees He will answer and show You His salvation. In His presence is safety. In His presence is Joy complete. In His presence you can rest from your striving. In His presence their is no doubt that He can work it out.
I encourage you, the next time the enemy is roaring as a lion, call on the Name of Jesus and watch Him fortify you with His presence.
God loves you and so do I, be blessed in Jesus Name.

IF YOU ASK ME I'M READY

THERE IS A PURPOSE FOR YOUR EXISTENCE, A REASON THAT YOU WERE CREATED. IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW YOU GOT HERE, ALL THAT MATTERS IS THAT YOU ARE HERE. THERE ARE NO MISTAKES IN GOD EVEN THOUGH THAT MAY HAVE BEEN YOUR LABEL. YOU HAVE A UNIQUE REASON FOR BEING ON PLANET EARTH..THERE IS SOMETHING IN YOU, ABOUT YOU THAT NO ONE ELSE POSSESSES. YES, THERE IS SOMEONE ELSE THAT CAN DO WHAT YOU DO BUT NOT IN THE UNIQUE WAY THAT GOD HAS YOU TO DO IT.
I WANT TO ENCOURAGE SOMEONE TODAY TO RELEASE THE FEAR AND ALL THAT HOLDS YOU BACK FROM PURSUING THAT PURPOSE. I TELL YOU THERE WILL CONTINUE TO BE A VOID, AN EMPTINESS IN YOU IF YOU ARE NOT LIVING IN LINE WITH THIS PURPOSE. YOU CALL IT A DREAM BUT KNOW ONE THING, IT WAS NOT DESIGNED BY YOU. THAT DREAM THAT YOU HAVE COMES FROM GOD ABOVE AND HE WANTS YOU TO FULFILL IT.
WHAT IS HOLDING YOU BACK? WHAT IS KEEPING YOU FROM GOING AFTER YOUR TRUE SELF?
YOU HAVE BEEN SENT TO EARTH FROM GOD FROM SOMEONE OTHER THAN YOU.
IT'S TIME TO GET STARTED, TO BEGIN YOUR JOURNEY, TO BECOME ALL THAT GOD WANTS YOU TO BE.
IF YOU ASK ME I'M READY,I'M WILLING,I'M RUNNING AFTER GOD WHO HAS MY VISION IN HAND. HE KNOWS THE WAY THAT I SHOULD GO AND WHEN I SEEK HIM HE WILL REVEAL IT TO ME.

ADVENTURES OF A NEW “ME.”

Isaiah 43:18-20 (MSG)

Forget about what's happened; don't keep going over old history. Be alert, be present (in your right now), I'm about to do something brand-new. It's bursting out! Don't you see it? There it is! I'm making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands. (paranthesis added)

I just noticed in this scripture as I was typing that not only does God say He is doing a new thing He tells us what that new thing is. If you are like me, you have been wrestling with some things from your past, constantly rolling them over in your mind, possibly blaming yourself and others. This could be something that happened ten years ago or ten minutes ago, but you must understand that it is still considered the past, old history. God does not want us to live in our past He does however want us to learn from our past and take the fragmented pieces of our past mistakes to use them for a purpose greater than ourselves. He lets nothing go to waste, He takes the pain and shame of the past and uses it to produce a much better you for your present and future.

Your past may have led you to a desert, a dry place where it seems you have been abandoned by everyone, but God says here in Isaiah 43 that He's getting ready to make a road that will lead you out of that desert. He's about to make some stuff flow in your life and unstop your wells. All that He requires is faith, faith enough in Him to repent and believe that you have been given a new chance and a fresh new start. Faith that the "You" you see today will no longer be the "You" you encounter daily. Trust and believe that that rough patch is over and it is indeed time to walk into something new.

There is one other thing required for this to take place and that is the development of a new mind.

Unless you are willing to renew your mind you will not even recognize that road when it is presented. You will walk by the road everyday and not even realize that it is the road designed to deliver you to a better place. If you are still thinking like the "You" of your past there is no way to grab hold of the fact that God wants to do a new thing in your life. You must make it a priority to search God's Word each day on a renewed mind, you must meditate on the scriptures that tell you who you really are and where you are going.

There is a "You" designed to dominate, to live and not just exist, to have joy, peace, and love. It is yours for the asking. God wants you to become that person because it is His original intent. He wants you to have life and life more abundantly. So kiss the old "You" goodbye. Stop meditating on what you did and who did it to you. Let it go and purpose in your heart to leave it behind as you press forward to your greater purpose and God's plan for your life. Say goodbye to sadness and grief and hello to joy complete. Say goodbye to unhealthy relationships and hello to a relationship with God where He tells you daily that He loves you, you are the apple of His eye, made in His image and likeness. Say goodbye to yesterday and Hello to a brand-new "ME. "

I AM ACCEPTED!

ROMANS 8:15-17 (NRSV)

For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption. When we cry, "Abba! Father!" it is that very spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heir with Christ-if, in fact, we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

Somebody wants you, you are wanted! You have not been rejected by God, no matter who has and who still does throw you away, God has adopted you, taken you in and called you His child. He gave you proof of this adoption by giving you the Holy Spirit.

If you know anything about adoption, you know that the child takes the family name, and the child is entitled to the family inheritance. All that belongs to the family belongs to that child. Medical benefits, the house, the car, and everything else and all else associated with that family.

The bible also says that in Christ Jesus we have obtained an inheritance. (Ephesians 1:11) this is further proof that if you have willingly given your life to Christ, God now considers you one of His very own and everything that a child of God gets you know receive.

Ephesians 1:13-14 (NRSV) In Him you also, when you had heard the Word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and had believed in Him, were marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit; this is the pledge of our inheritance toward redemption as God's own people, to the praise of His glory.

This shows that we indeed have this inheritance and as a sign or proof that God was not lying and indeed true to His Word, He gave us the Holy Spirit which He promised us through Jesus Christ before He left the Earth.

You are His, He loves you, He wants you. He has made you His very own and all that you want and need is in Him. A child of a king does not have to beg or cry for assistance, he/she merely asks the king and the answer is always yes. One thing that I have been made aware of is that all that the King has belongs to the prince/princess but it is not released until maturity, BUT this does not disqualify the prince/princess from having ALL his/her needs met and a WHOLE LOTTA desires. So even though its not in your bank account yet or in your driveway doesn't mean its not yours. I urge you to press on to full maturation and what you ask for you shall surely receive. Until then BLESS HIS NAME and be grateful for every need He has met.

WHY COULD WE NOT CAST HIM OUT?????

Matthew 17:19b-21 (NRSV)

"Why could we not cast it out?" 20. He said to them, "Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."

Upon reading this scripture, the thought came to me, how can anyone's faith be any smaller than a mustard seed? I don't know if you have ever seen a mustard seed but it is very tiny. How can someone walking with The Living Word everyday not have even as much faith as a tiny mustard seed? I thought to myself, there has to be more to this than what I'm reading, what did Jesus mean when He said "because of your little faith??" So, I sought out the answer by way of the Holy Spirit in other versions of the bible. The message version reads as follows:

"Why couldn't we throw it out?" 20. "Because you're not yet taking God seriously," said Jesus. "The simple truth is that if you had a mere kernel of faith, a poppy seed, say, you would tell this mountain, 'Move!' and it would move. There is nothing you wouldn't be able to tackle."

This version made it very plain to me "You are not yet taking God seriously" you walk with Him, you see Him and talk with Him everyday yet you do not truly believe He is who He is or He can do what He says He can.

These men had been walking with Jesus on Earth for some time yet they did not fully believe In the power that He had invested in them. He told them that they had not taken Him or His mission seriously if they had nothing would be impossible for them.

So then, here's the issue: NO FAITH in GOD!

What is the definition of faith? According to the web the definition is:

• A strong belief in a supernatural power that controls human destiny
  
• Complete confidence in a person
  
• Truth or trustworthiness of a person, concept, or thing
  

The bible defines faith as: The substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)

So, what Jesus was saying was…..If you had a mere kernel, mustard seed, poppy seed of(assurance of things hoped for and evidence of what you don't see) you would tell your mountain to move from here to there and it would respond and not only that nothing would be impossible for you. Simple, huh?

Another thing that stood out to me was "If you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain…" The bible did not say you could say, it said you will say. If this faith lived in your heart you would speak faith, why, because what lies In a man's heart is what comes out of a man's mouth. If you have faith, you will say. If you have doubt, you will say. Proverbs 23:7 says, As a man thinks in his heart(seat of emotions and desire) so is he. As a person believes in his heart, so goes his mouth and life. Whatever is in your heart is what you will speak. That struck a nerve with me because that means you cannot fake it and if you do it will only last a while. When the storm arises you will operate off of what is within your heart. So, I began to ask the Lord, How do you get this faith, how do I get it down in my heart so that it will be what I speak always?

His answer: Faith comes by what is heard and what is heard comes from the Word of God. (Romans 10:17) This all seemed to simple to me, if we know what faith is and how to get it, what is the problem? The problem is that we don't want to read, study, and put time in the word the way that we should. We will attend church regularly and maybe read the bible throughout the week, but in order to acquire and maintain this kind of faith, we have to have a daily meeting with the Word. We HAVE to set aside a time each day to meet with the Lord. We have to research the Word about our situation, quote it, and memorize it for success.

The bible mentions in (3) places that I found and there may be more: The righteous or righteous one will live by his faith. (Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11.)

I pray that you will make it your priority in this new year to live by your faith in God and not what you see with your natural eyes. Some great things are in store for those of us who will make God and His Word our no. 1 priority this season.

May God bless you and make His face shine upon you…Go in the faith of God and do big Kindom things.

ISAIAH 54

Isaiah 54 says:
1. SIng, O barren one who did not bear; burst into song and shout, you who have not been in labor! For the children of the desolate woman will be more than the children of her that is married, says the Lord. 2. Enlarge the site of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes. 3. For you will spread out to the right and to the left, and your descendants will possess the nations and will settle the desolate towns. 4. Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; do not be discouraged, for you will not suffer disgrace; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and the disgrace of your widowhood you will remember no more. 5. For your Maker is your Husband, the Lord of Hosts is His name; the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth He is called. 6. For the Lord has called you like a wife forsaken adn grieved in spirit, like the wife of a man's youth when she is cast off, says your God. 7. For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with great compassion I will gather you. 8. In overflowing wrath for a moment I hid my face from you, but with everlasting love I will have compassion on you, says the Lord, your Redeemer. 9. This is like the days of Noah to me: Just as I swore that the waters of Noah would never again go over the earth, so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you and will not rebuke you. 10. For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be reomoved, says the Lord who has compassion on you. 11. O afflicted one, storm-tossed, and not comforted, I am about to set your stones in antimony, and lay your foundations with sapphires. 12. I will make your pinnacles of rubies, your gates of jewels, and all your wall of precious stones. 13. All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the prosperity of your children. 14. In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror for it shall not come near you. 15. If anyone stirs up strife , it is not from me; whoever stirs up strife with you shall fall because of you. 16. See it is I who have created the simth the blows the fire of coals, and produces a weapon fit for its purpose; I have also created the raveger to destroy. 17. No weapon that is fashioned against you shall prosper, and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgement. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, says the Lord.

The interpretation of this scripture given to me this morn:
Sing, burst into song(Praise) for your produce what you're about to do will be more than the one who has already been doing. Even though they been at it longer, your stuff will exceed theirs.
Enlarge your expectation!
Don't hold back on your thinking, dream, visions, thoughts of success..
Walk like it, Talk like it, Behave in an expected manner. For you will surely proper, take over, dominate in your field or area.
You faced some circumstances but don't fear, this time you won't be ashamed. He's gonna make it all up to you. You will forget your former shame, your former pain and disgrace.
REDEEMER!!
For the LORD has called you.
You who have been afflicted, LOOK at what I'm about to do: I'm about to set you up, make your stuff look like it has always been that way. I'm about to OVERDO it on your behalf.
Even your children!
YOu shall be far from oppression, bout to make some things up to you.
There is no weapon created that can hurt you now. The Lord is going to fight for you and vindicate you.

BE ENCOURAGED FOR IT WON'T BE LONG. FOR THOSE THAT HAVE REMAINED FAITHFUL, ALTHOUGH YOU MAY HAVE FELL YOU DID NOT GIVE UP ON GOD, HE'S ABOUT TO MAKE IT UP TO YOU. FOR THE OBEDIENT ONE, GET READY FOR A TREAT AS YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN. FOR THE ONE WHO CONTINUES TO BE DISOBEDIENT, GET READY FOR JUDGMENT.
